Company Members

We are inviting supporters and organisations to join the charity as a Company Member to help guide the direction of the charity.

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign's constitution provides for the appointment of an unlimited number of Company Members of the charity. Company Members are similar to shareholders of a company, and are invited to attend all general meetings of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign (including the AGM).

Together the Members embody a broad range of relevant skills, experience and backgrounds, from business and the arts, politics, finance and health care.

Company Membership of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is free and open to the following:

(a)        Any individuals aged 18 or over.

(b)        Any organisations which the Board decides to admit to Membership.

Employees of the charity are not eligible for Company Membership until one year after their employment ceases. Applications for Company Membership have to be approved by the Board of Trustees.
