The main feature of the Target Research (Issue 2 of 4 2012) is about newborn screening for neuromuscular conditions, which has been in the spotlight recently, especially for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. We also feature research we are funding at King's College London into how the quality of life of people with muscular dystrophy and related conditions is affected by factors such as the way they cope with stressful situations and their beliefs about their condition.
