Minicore (multicore) myopathy
Multi-minicore Disease (MmD) (sometime also called minicore myopathy, multicore myopathy or multiminicore myopathy), falls under the umbrella of the congenital myopathies. These are an inherited group of muscle conditions characterised by variable degrees of muscle weakness and wasting. Multi-minicore Disease (MmD) is a rare condition with different subgroups each with varying symptoms and severity.
