About the Branches

Here you can find more information about specific Branches, activities they organise and times of meetings.

The Wirral Branch

The Wirral Branch was formed in 1988 to raise money for research and support people with muscular dystrophy, and their families.

We welcome new members and have managed to raise in excess of £100,000 in our 16 years. We hold monthly get togethers to discuss fund raising and have a chat. Our meetings are held at Clatterbridge Child Development Centre on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, except August, from 8pm.

Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you.

Colchester and District Branch

The Colchester and District Branch is active in both fundraising and events organisation.

Over the last nine months Branch members have raised over £6,000 - a fantastic amount - through collections, festival stalls and events.
