The Wirral Branch held its main fundraising event of the year. Hosted by Neston Cricket Club, the Annual Music Festival attracted a good crowd and helped to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

Members of the Starlight Youth Theatre performing at the Annual Music Festival Local bands, Nissen Impossible, The Bosa Nova Duo and Gus Travis provided their services free of charge. They were joined by pupils from Neston High School and performers from the Starlight Youth Theatre, all of whom provided excellent entertainment.

"Proceeds from the Festival topped £1,500"

The Festival also featured a charity cricket match, with Neston Cricket Club taking on a team from the local pub, The Red Lion. MP Andrew Miller visited the Festival, and he joined in the Cricket Match with great enthusiasm. The Mayor of Ellesmere Port & Neston also attended.

The Neston Cricket team, who played a charity match at the Wirral Annual Music Festival There were stalls, face painting, a bouncy castle and a variety of food. Everyone enjoyed the day and the Wirral Branch raised a fantastic £1,500.
