Community spirit

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign's mission is to improve the quality of life for people with muscle disease. We lead the search for treatments and cures, and aim to provide the best care and information possible.

To do so we rely on the generosity and kindness of people who take the time and effort to fundraise, and those who dig deep into their pockets to sponsor or donate.

So, a big 'Thank You' to everyone in the North West who helps to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

What goes up, must come down ...

On Sunday 2 March, 2008 an indoor abseil is being held at the Manchester Velodrome. This 40 metre freefall abseil starts from the roof and drops to the floor of this Commonwealth games cycling site. All equipment and training is provided so you don't even have to have done an abseil before.
