Who we work with
Many people all over Northern Ireland work to promote the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, increase awareness of our work, organise events and raise money.
The chair of the Northern Ireland Council, Oliver Monaghan, and its members are some of the people who work to meet these aims.
Oliver Monaghan and the Northern Ireland Council
Oliver Monaghan has been involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign for 12 years. As the current chair of the Northern Ireland Council he and his fellow members oversee activities within the Province, and maintain contact with those who use our services. The Northern Ireland Council meet quarterly on Saturdays, and have an ‘open door’ policy. Oliver said: “We welcome any of our supporters to attend our meetings which we keep as informal as possible. The best way to ensure the charity is functioning as well as possible is to have input from those who use our services.”
Anyone interested in learning more about our activities should contact Glenn – 028 9075 1497.
