4 in a Row
On the 18th and 19th of May, 4 members of the Business Improvement Team from Rolls-Royce in East Kilbride will be attempting to row all 60 miles of the Caledonian Canal, from Fort William.
The team of rowers dubbed ‘4inarow’ decided to support the charity because Lanarkshire Branch Chair Jim O'Hagan, who also works at Rolls Royce, has a son, Sean, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Rowing through Loch Ness, they will finish in Inverness and they aim to do it in just 2 days, raising cash for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign as they go. "We have never been in a rowing boat before let alone take on this monster challenge. We are currently undergoing extensive training and coaching to help us prepare for this event and now need your help to raise money."
They have already exceeded their £5,000 target and are now aiming for £10,000!
