Matthew Wise and Ben Rummett from Bow, near Crediton, are embarking on a 300 mile cycle from their home in Devon to Derby where Matthew is studying at university.

The 20 year olds will be setting off in late July and aim to complete their journey in just 10 days.

Matthew said "A close friend at university has muscular dystrophy and we wanted to help raise awareness of the charity and fundraise to support it’s work, it’s also a great personal challenge for Ben and myself ‘
