Trevor and Linda Perry have raised an amazing £2,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign through their sponsored slim.

"Isaac is a very charming child, our family and friends just love him. Evelyn, Isaac's sister, is also a real blessing to us."

Their grandson, Isaac, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy last year when he was just 4 years old. It was a real shock to his mum and dad, Jessica and JD, who were expecting thier second child just three weeks later.

Jessica and JD said that during the past five months Isaac has made some really great progress.

"He has undergone a three month trial of steroid treatment that has enabled him to walk, run and play for longer periods of time. What a joy for us to see. We are greatful that he is receiving such good care. Isaac has been enjoying his summer holidays but he is also looking forward to going back to school and starting year one."

Trevor and Linda Perry with Isaac and his sister EvelynIsaac's dad is in the British Army and he is now
serving in Afghanistan; all of our thoughts are with him and the men who are going with him, and their families.

In July Trevor lost 8lb and Linda lost 24lbs. Their outstanding efforts really have made a positive contribution to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and we would like to say a huge thank you.
