Golden wedding fundraisier

 

When Kathleen and George Hall celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary in March this year, they asked their party guests to donate in lieu of gifts and raised £409.79 for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Their son, Mark, has Becker muscular dystrophy as does Kathleen’s brother, Robert, and nephew Micheal. Kathleen's late brother Eric also suffered from muscular dystrophy, so they understand only too well how muscular dystrophy affects people’s lives. “We saw our party as a great opportunity to raise some money and help others who also have muscular dystrophy in their family."
