Patrick Loughran has Becker muscular dystrophy. He works full time in the civil service, Belfast. He has friends round most evenings to ‘surf the net’ and their record for the night-time ‘surfing’ is through to 4am.

His computer has a multimedia CD and DVD writer, so he can record music and videos to watch films. He is also a games fan.
