"Steven our son has muscular dystrophy, he wasn’t diagnosed until he was 27 and we still don’t know what type he has. When we made the decision to hold a garden party to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary, we thought it would be great if we could raise some money for a charity that is very close to our hearts. We asked all our family and friends not to bring presents but to give a donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. We managed to raise £400 in the end – it’s the biggest gift anyone could give!”
