South West Wales Branch fundraising

The South West Wales Branch of Muscular Dystrophy Campaign continues with its successful 40th Anniversary fundraising events. Since January 2006 the branch has sent £8,500 to headquarters in London for research purposes. Each year the branch is supported by Gowerton Comprehensive School, which holds a Fun Run.

This year they raised £2,000. We are extremely grateful to the pupils, staff and head teacher who support the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. The head teacher, Mr Paul Green, will be retiring in 2006 and we wish him well. We hope that the next head teacher will continue to lend his/her support.
