Suzanne Glover has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She has been in the Girl’s Brigade since 1997. She is in the explorer section of the Stream Presbyterian Company in Newtownards. Recently she won her Bronze Badge and received gifts of tickets to attend a pop concert in Belfast.

Her favourite toy is her teddy bear ‘Frazer.’ When she was a baby, Frazer arrived in a brown paper bag from House of Frazer, London where Suzanne’s aunty lived. While Frazer is a very good friend and goes everywhere with Suzanne, he has been known to occasionally faint when attending hospital with Suzanne.

Then there is Samy, the hamster. He is a recent addition to the family and enjoys getting out of his cage for a hug. S for Suzanne, A for her brother Andrew, M for Mummy and the Y was added because it sounded nice.
