Why are we campaigning?

There are major gaps in the provision and quality of care and support for people with muscle-wasting conditions. Too many patients are still struggling to access the specialist, multi-disciplinary care and support they need to manage their conditions and improve their quality of life. These are gaps in care which must urgently be fixed.

Working closely with families affected by muscle-wasting conditions and giving them the power to take the lead in campaigning is the most powerful way of making change like improved care or better services. Our campaigns rely on individuals and families coming together to push for change.
