Hospice care

Hospices offer care and support for people with a life-limiting condition and a short life expectancy.

The ongoing day-to-day care of a child with a life-limiting condition can be a physical and emotional strain on the whole family. A hospice can offer support through respite care, emergency care, symptom control and terminal care.

There are hospices for children, some specifically designed for teenagers and young adults and also hospices for adults.
