Dare to Dangle? 80ft Abseil @ MDC HQs

Fancy dress encouraged!

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is delighted to have and offer you the opportunity to abseil off our Headquarters near London Bridge. With some great views and a great atmosphere as you join over 100 fellow fundraisers on the day, including many members of staff who have been tempted by the challenge. We will provide you with refreshments and a chance to see our base in London.

You will be given a time to arrive for your abseil. You can register as an individual or as a team - get some friends to do it with you, and bring a few supporters as well. We’d love you to come in fancy dress. Here are some ideas - pirates, Elvis, Batman, Marilyn Monroe, James Bond, Disney character and Ziggy Stardust. The sky is limit and we’d love to see some great fancy dress costumes. It all adds to the atmosphere and you will be able to have your photograph taken as you set off on your descent for a small charge. We will supply you with a t-shirt to wear to help with your fundraising and to wear on the day - your supporters are guaranteed not to miss you on the way down.

No previous experience is necessary, all equipment is provided, and the instructors make sure that everyone completes the abseil safely. Each participant receives a certificate to mark their achievement.

The minimum you need to raise for this special experience is £85, with an entry fee of £15, this includes your t-Shirt. But please raise as much as you can. Raise £250 and get a Muscular Dystrophy Campaign fleece.

The fundraiser who makes the most money will receive a free flying lesson, yes in a plane!
