Wirral Coastal Walk

A fifteen-mile walk organised by the Rotary Club, around the coast of North Wirral. This is a leisurely walk with good facilities on the course, which usually attracts over 4,000 participants raising money for many different charities.

Roll & Stroll Camel Trail, Cornwall

The Cornwall branch are leading the launch of a sponsored 'Roll & Stroll' along the Camel Trail.

Starting at the Burrough Arms in Bodmin and finishing in Wadebridge, this flat and accessible track is suitable for everyone to enjoy the enjoy at their own pace. Wheelchairs, buggies and walkers are all welcome and fancy dress is optional with prizes on offer for the most imaginative outfit.

Manchester to Blackpool Cycle Ride

This 59-mile bike ride, now in its 22nd year, starts from Manchester’s Albert Square, taking in a picturesque route along country lanes to its finish at Stanley Park in Blackpool. Loch Ness Marathon

Liverpool 10k road race

Jubilee Walk, London

A lovely autumm, circular 5 mile, family walk for all ages and abilities; this is a wheelchair friendly event. This is a walk along the Jubilee Walkway, which was originally set up by the London Celebrations Committee for the Queen's Silver Jubilee. Last year this event was very well attended and we'd like to think of it as the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign's day out.
Entry fee for adults is £5 and childiren £2, or family of 4 for £10. With minimum sponsorship of £80.
