Get muscle-tastic and join the fight against muscle disease

Could you be a Fundraising Muscle Hero? Get your company to join the fight against muscle disease during Muscle Week.

Muscle week which runs from 22-27 September is an important week for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. We are calling Fundraising Muscle Heroes to help us raise the much needed funds to continue our fight against muscle disease.

We are asking companies from all over the UK to support our work by getting employees involved in fundraising, by dressing as their favourite superhero for the day, doing something ‘Muscle-tastic’ or just having fun to raise money.

Calling all fundraising Muscle Heroes to join the fight against muscle disease….pay or be paid!

Get paid/sponsored to:

• dress as your favourite superhero for the day;
• use your muscles – e.g. do a heroic bike ride;
• be the villain for the day;

Pay to:

• wear or display a muscle hero mask;
• make your own muscle hero mask (or decorate ours);
• dress down for the day;

Other fundraising ideas: 

• feed the heroes (e.g. make delicious snacks and treats and sell them to raise funds);
• give something up for the day (e.g. cycle or walk to work and donate the cost of your transport);
• hold a muscle-tastic sweep stake or fun games league get the whole office involved and have a great time the winner gets a prize or a cut of the cash (e.g. start a thumb wrestling or tiddly winks or base your sweep stake on a sporting event);
• Grow a 'muscle-tashtic tash for cash'

How to get involved

Any company can be a ‘muscle-tastic’ Muscle Hero, so why not get your company involved? Whether it’s a planned event or just simple ideas that take very little organise, either can raise funds to make a big difference to fighting muscle disease.
