Project Funding
The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign supports a wide range of projects which we require funding for to enable us to continue leading the fight against muscle disease in the UK.
Projects range from health conferences for families living with muscle disease, our care advisors who are on hand offering specialist support to individuals and families in the community, funding one of our many information booklets to supporting one of our scientific research projects.
The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign relies almost entirely on voluntary donations making your corporate support essential for us to continue our work.
Some recent projects our company partners have funded:
Transition Materials
We are delighted to announce that BUPA Giving are funding our much needed transition materials for young people living with muscle disease. The transition materials are aimed at enhancing the quality of life and independence of young adults living with muscle disease by providing clear and accessible information. The materials will support young people, their families and carers in planning their futures and achieving their goals.
Children's website
We are delighted that Schroders Plc have generously donated funds to enable us to develop a new children’s website. This will be a specially developed micro-site, accessed via the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign’s website, and will be a secure place for children with muscle disease to learn, play, interact and feel part of a wider community.
Research Project
This funding from GSK extends the partnership that the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign enjoys with the pharmaceutical company.
