On 14th November, the Q Trust held a fundraising screening of Chromophobia, a thrilling drama directed by Martha Fiennes, sister of actor Ralph Fiennes, at the Phoenix Picturehouse in Oxford. The screening was followed by a live Q&A with Martha Fiennes, director of Photography, George Tiffin and actress Harriet Walter.

The evening raised a fantastic £4,766!

Thank you to all those who attended and made the event possible, especially Martha Fiennes, George Tiffin and Harriet Walter for allowing us to show the film and joining us on the evening; the Q Trust committee for all their hard work, and the Phoenix Picturehouse who allowed us to host the screening. The proceeds from the preview were donated to The Q Trust, a special appeal set up in memory of the acclaimed author Quentin Crewe.

The film itself was a huge success. Chromophobia (certificate 18), originally debuted at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival and brings together a stunning ensemble cast including Martha Fiennes’ brother and well known actor Ralph Fiennes, Kristin Scott Thomas, Rhys Ifans, Ian Holm, Ben Chaplin, Damian Lewis, Penélope Cruz and Jason Tobin.

Chromophobia is on general release from Friday 14th December 2007.
