Scientists of the Future fund
Help us fund vital research in 2013
Scientists of the Future fund offers young scientists the opportunity to obtain specialised training in muscle-wasting conditions. Please donate online today to support this fund.
In order to increase our understanding, and to facilitate the generation of treatments, it is vital that we encourage a new generation of researchers to enter the field of muscular dystrophy and related conditions.
Funding PhD studentships and clinical research fellowships through Scientists of the Future supports the development of young scientists, resulting in highly trained researchers with the knowledge to develop life-saving treatments and cures for these conditions.
Dr Reghan Foley from Great Ormond Street Hospital says:
This is a tremendous opportunity both for my training as an academic clinical researcher in neuromuscular diseases as well as for my research in congenital muscular dystrophies.
Thank you to those who have already donated to this project - this work is only possible through the support of people like you.
