Press & PR assistant - London
What's the role?
We need a Press and PR volunteer to provide assistance to our busy in-house press team at our head office in Southwark.
What will I be doing?
You'll be writing press releases, organising the distribution of our media coverage, helping to implement our new Comms Ambassadors project and supporting our celebrity strategy.
What skills and experience do I need?
You don't necessarily need experience in press and public relations - but an interest in media and press is essential.
What are the hours?
We'd ideally like to you come in for 2 - 5 days during the week, which can easily fit in around your schedule, with a commitment of at least three months.
What experience will I gain?
Working with our experienced and busy press team, you'll develop a greater understanding of how press and public relations work within a national charity. You will gain skills in writing press releases and in communications with a variety of audiences.
