Fundraising Promotion and Marketing Intern
We require a creative, independent and hardworking individual to lead on the promotion and marketing of our new fundraising products across the UK.
What skills do I need?
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- Interest in marketing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for building relationships with supporters
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Confidence in using basic PC applications
- The ability to think strategically
- Strong organisational skills
- An interest in fundraising and in working with the many different volunteers who support the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
How much time do I need to commit?
Ideally, we’d like someone who can commit to two to three days a week for 12 weeks, but we realise that this might not be possible and would try and find a flexible opportunity for the right candidate.
What support will I be given?
- You will be provided with a mentor with whom you will have regular development meetings.
- A one-day Volunteer Fundraising Induction and a full briefing into our fundraising products.
- Lunch (up to £3) and travel to your place of work will be refunded.
- You will become a full and integral part of the Volunteer Fundraising team and will be able to draw on the team for advice and guidance.
