Campaign with us

There are many ways in which you can get involved in our campaigning action to improve access to services across the UK.

Local Muscle Groups

Local  Muscle Groups bring together people affected by muscular dystrophy and related conditions to develop local campaigns to improve health and social care in their communities. Group meetings provide an opportunity to meet with other families and get support and advice on management of conditions, and for information on local services and the charity's other support programmes.

Campaigning in parliament

Supported by the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, cross-party groups in Westminster, the Scottish Parliament, the Northern Ireland Assembly and the Welsh Assembly have been investigating access to specialist neuromuscular care across the UK. This provides the basis of our continuing battle to ensure gaps in specialist neuromuscular care provision is addressed and to implement service improvements.

Trailblazers

Trailblazers are a group of more than 400 young disabled people, working together on a national and local level to highlight and address the issues that are important to them. Trailblazers campaign to improve services for young disabled people in public transport, higher education, leisure activities, employment, tourism, cinemas and housing and to highlight issues around disability hate crime.
