Events
Dubowitz Neuromuscular Centre Reception
We were very pleased that a number of Q Trust supporters were able to join us in June for a reception at the Dubowitz Neuromuscular Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Guests learnt at first hand from Professor Francesco Muntoni about how the money raised by The Q Trust has allowed the team to develop the highest quality diagnosis, care and research for the 2,000 children that visit them each year. For more information about the Centre please download further details here.
Thank you to Jemima Reynolds, who spoke on behalf of The Q Trust committee, and eloquently described their committement and enthusiasm for supporting the vital work of the centre.
A Reunion of the Rubber Band
Thank you to all the Q Trust supporters who joined us on 26 February at London's Cobden Club, W10 for an evening of good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll!
The Rubber Band gave a fantastic performance to a full house. The band featured Michael de Albuquerque (formerly of ELO), Tim Payne, Sandy Swinton, Jamie Bossom and a host of special guests.
A huge thank you to all those who took to the stage in support of The Q Trust
During the evening guests were invited to enter our exciting raffle to win a luxury ski holiday for two. Carve up the slopes, cut up the mountainside, indulge in the best food, sip on the finest wines and relish the renowned service that has earned Scott Dunn its outstanding reputation. Runners-up could expect to win annual passes to the Cobden Club. Thank you to all those who entered and congratulations to our lucky winners!
The evening raised nearly £15,000 and all proceeds from the event will allow the Dubowtiz Neuromuscular Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital to continue to provide medical care and support for over 2,000 children with muscle disease each year whilst also conducting pioneering research.
With special thanks to our organisers Emma Swinton and Sophia Berqgvist and the generous donors of our raffle prize, Scott Dunn and The Cobden Club.
