Equipment grants (JPT)
Empowering people with muscle disease to remain independent
The Joseph Patrick Trust (JPT) is the welfare trust of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and provides part-funding towards the cost of equipment for children and adults with muscle disease.
The JPT funds equipment, such as powered wheelchairs, adapted computers and electric beds, which promotes mobility and independence.
Since it was established in 1986, the JPT has awarded over £3 million to more than 5,000 children and adults with muscle disease.
We are no longer fully-funding equipment for children but are accepting applications for part-funding towards equipment for both children and adults.
