Schools

We set up the Schools Network in 2008 to help teaching staff and provide support to children with muscle disease.

The network enables schools to exchange ideas and information, which will lead to a greater understanding of children’s needs, and best practice in the classroom.

We also offer training sessions - see our care events section for more details

Personal information about the child will not be collected and specific personal issues will not be discussed without the written consent of parents/guardians, and of course, the children themselves, where applicable. You can register to join our Schools Network for free.

Please note:

We do not require the name of the child/children, only their age and specific neuromuscular condition.
