Just want to be able to pick up the phone or drop a quick email to someone who you know will understand without needing to see your patient records? Then MD Links is the service for you.
We know that a diagnosis of muscle disease can be frightening and planning for an uncertain future is a daunting task.
We know you want to get in touch with someone else with the same condition or with someone else in your area, but because muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions are rare, it can be really hard to find the right person.
We have created MD Links to help you find the contact you are looking for. Whether you are happy to become a link person or would like talk to someone else like you, we are here to help.

I am thrilled with MD Links. It's wonderful knowing that I am not odd feeling tired all the time. I've also been interested to hear what eye lid operations other people have had. It's brilliant to get people together and stop that horrid feeling of being so isolated.
Wendy is now in contact with five other people who have the same condition as her, oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy (OPMD).
