Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG)
The Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) is a grant to help towards the costs for essential home adaptations to enable a disabled person to maintain freedom of movement and access to essential facilities within the home.

Direct Payments

Disability Discrimination Act
Part 3 of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), which came into force on 1 October 2004, requires every business, large or small – from the local shop to restaurants, health clubs, dentists and supermarkets – to become more user-friendly to Britain’s 10 million disabled people.
