Locial Social Service staff should be able to provide advice on the following:- Advice on adaptations to the home and how to fund them.
- Assistance with non-medical personal care such as washing, dressing, cooking and shopping. (There may be a charge for this care and it would form a part of an agreed care plan drawn up after an assessment by a Social Worker or Care Manager.)
- Day care.
- Equipment, for example bath aids, hoists etc.
- Respite care.
