A fundraising screening of Chromophobia, a thrilling drama directed by Martha Fiennes will be shown at the Phoenix Picturehouse in Oxford on Wednesday 14 November. The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with Martha Fiennes, director of Photography, George Tiffin, actress Harriet Walter and other cast members.

All the proceeds from the preview will be donated to The Q Trust, set up in 2001 in memory of acclaimed author Quentin Crewe, to raise funds for research into muscle disease. The Q Trust is a Muscular Dystrophy Campaign appeal and plans to raise £1 million to fight muscle disease.

Chromophobia (certificate 18), which originally debuted at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival, brings together a stunning ensemble cast including Martha Fiennes’ brother and well known actor Ralph Fiennes, Kristin Scott Thomas, Rhys Ifans, Ian Holm, Ben Chaplin, Damian Lewis, Penélope Cruz and Jason Tobin.

The film follows Marcus Aylesbury, the son of a high court judge and a successful lawyer with an enviable lifestyle. But all is not what it seems. His hyperactive son seems to be spending too much time with his gay godfather, his wife is a sexually frustrated shopaholic and he himself is hiding a damaging secret - one that may be of value to a friend who happens to be a ruthless tabloid journalist.

The preview starts at 8.30pm on Wednesday 14 November at Phoenix Picturehouse, Walton Street, Oxford, OX2 6AE. All tickets cost £25 and can booked by calling the Picturehouse directly on 0871 704 2067.
