Motability Operations, the UK’s leading provider of cars for disabled people, is listing all their 4,000 plus dealer agents on www.directenquiries.com, the Nationwide Access Register.

The long-term partnership with Direct Enquiries will include an online dealer locator, giving Motability customers a quick and easy method of finding access information about dealerships countrywide, covering all major vehicle marques. The comprehensive access information will also be available through www.directenquiries.com, the Nationwide Access Register, promoting Motability’s services to the huge numbers of people visiting the register each month.

Before the service is launched, all Motability dealer partners will undergo a rigorous assessment process to gather all the access data from every site. This will ensure the information listed on www.directenquiries.com is entirely accurate and updateable whenever changes take place. The assessments will be undertaken by the Direct Enquiries team.

Mike Betts, chief executive, Motability Operations said: “As the UK’s leading provider of vehicles for disabled people it makes commercial sense for us to be listed on the UK’s most used access register. We have a service-based ethos and want to give our customers the best possible experience. We know that visiting a car dealer can sometimes cause anxiety. By providing the access details, location maps and other comprehensive information for all the car dealers who provide Motability cars on www.directenquiries.com and www.motability.co.uk, customers will be able to plan visits to our partner dealers in advance, secure in the knowledge that they will be able to overcome any potential access issues.”

www.directenquiries.com chief executive, Grant Kennedy said: “Motability Operations is the UK’s premiere provider of vehicles for disabled people; their service has already been life changing for over two million people, including my own father. Their decision to join the register will substantially increase the benefits they offer to people all across the country.”

The Motability Car Scheme provides a new car complete with tax, insurance, RAC breakdown cover, and free replacement tyres to disabled people and their families. Anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement is eligible for a car on the scheme. There are no further medical assessments or credit checks required.
