A new FSH MD website that focuses on the delivery of reliable and accurate information about the condition was launched in April 2007 by Tommy Atherton. One of the main sources of information for people with a medical condition is the internet, but it's only useful if the data on it is accurate and up to date, which is not always the case.

One clear example of this is the way Respiratory Muscles and Home Ventilation have been dealt with. There is no doubt that it can be a major issue with FSH but it gets no attention at all from the major websites.

www.fshers.co.uk has been setup to provide this information and a support network to people with FSH MD. Whilst some information will come from the users themselves, who have FSH, some will be provided by medical experts who will supply information relating to specific areas of interest, for example Respiratory Muscles and FSH.

Areas to be covered soon will be:

Respiratory Muscles and Home Ventilation
Diet
Independent Living
Home Adaptation
Transport
