Type of grants available

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign can award the following categories of grants:

Research Grants

1. Project grants for a period of up to three years covering salaries (excluding that of the Principal Investigator), consumables and equipment.

2. PhD Studentships for up to four years covering the fees, stipend (at MRC rates) and consumables for a student for up to 4 years.

Service Grants

1. Muscle Centre grants provide funding for centres of excellence enabling those affected by muscular dystrophy and related conditions to receive a range of expert services. They also fund clinical research fellows.

2. Muscle Network grants fund links between professionals to enable full access to expert advice and information on muscular dystrophy and related conditions.
