The TREAT-NMD network

The TREAT-NMD network brings together 21 partner organisations in 11 European countries.

Some of Europe’s leading clinicians and scientists have formed this ‘network of excellence’ – the first of its kind – which has been funded by the European Union.

The network’s fundamental goal is to address the fragmentation that is currently delaying clinical trials for neuromuscular conditions and preventing all patients receiving unified care. The network also includes patient organisations and industry partners who are already working on neuromuscular diseases.

TREAT-NMD will encourage experts in the field to work together to share good practice and to improve global standards of care.
