Vice Presidents

The role of Vice President is an honorary position offered to our most committed and influential supporters.

Vice President's Role

President Sue Barker MBEThe role of our Vice Presidents is to raise the charity's profile and income by encouraging others to support the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

They are ambassadors for our cause and take a proactive approach to increasing support.

Vice Presidents receive regular correspondence and information from the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign to ensure that they are well informed about progress in all areas of our work including the annual Vice President Handbook.

Sue Barker invites all Vice Presidents to join The President's Club.

The President's Club

All Vice Presidents are invited to the bi-annual lunch meetings of our President's Club hosted by the charity's President, Sue Barker. The meetings are the key forum by which we inform and thank our Vice Presidents.

During the meeting they not only get the opportunity to network with each other but also receive a full update on our work and research from Trustees, members of the Senior Management Team and fellow staff.
